Job Description:

Determine the most effective delivery methods and applicable training instruments for the young women leaders to achieve the training objective and measurable outcomes, including appropriate adult learning techniques (interactive approach, short lectures, group work discussions, case studies, etc.).
Adhere to the timelines of the training duration;
Design and deliver the training according to TOR, with the following main topics to be covered:

I. Concepts of advocacy, and their respective elements;

II. Stages of advocacy and public outreach process;

III. Steps through which an effective advocacy and campaign is carried out;

IV. Successful national /local experiences on advocacy and campaigns within the Afghanistan context;

V. Role of women in planning and developing the necessary tools for advocacy and lobbying

VI. Preparation of a practical assignment for participants by the trainer. Participants should be tasked to develop an advocacy campaign for imposing social changes  

Prepare the training report as foreseen in the TOR.

Job Requirements:

Professional and extensive experience in Advocacy trainings
Professional work on advocacy-related matters in countries with transitional/emerging democracies;

Regional knowledge, previous experience in Afghanistan is strongly preferred in areas of advocacy
At least 3 years of experience training on lobby and advocacy and women’s legal rights.
Strong knowledge of advocacy
Proven experience with institutional planning, reporting and monitoring process.
Excellent analytical writing skills on similar issues (analytical reports and policy papers).
Personal interest, commitment, efficiency, flexibility, and willingness to work with a highly motivated team of professionals
Understanding of Afghanistan context
Excellent command of written and spoken English, Pashto, & Dari
Ability to work under pressure and short deadline.
